Opening Sequence by Almaz

Throughout the process of filming, we looked into other films which have similar themes, narratives, and settings as our opening sequence. Some of the films which inspired us are seen below. but another one is "The Blair Witch Project" which was made in 1999 and directed by Daniel Myrick and Eduardo Sanchez. This film helped us choose the type of setting that was needed for our scene as both "The Blair Witch Project" and opening sequence are set in deserted places and are thriller movies.

Both these pictures show the setting of "The Blair Witch Project" and give a sense of uncertainty and insicurity and shows that it is a very cold and isolated area which is excatly what we needed for our opening sequence.
